Angelina Jolie Inspired Eye Makeup Step by Step Tutorial
Angelina Jolie has a very signature look when it comes to makeup. Considering her as one of the most gorgeous women on this planet, it’s a no brainer why she sticks to her makeup routine! It makes her look gorgeous to say the least! Her eye makeup is almost always a cat eye or feline eye, completed with shimmery eye shadow. The part of her makeup that she experiments with a bit is her lipstick, which ranges from neutrals to vibrant reds.

This tutorial is all about Angelina! I have attempted to recreate her eye makeup look here just for you!
Regardless of the look, one should always moisturize and prime the eyes before getting started, to avoid the creases. By moisturizing and priming, the process becomes much simpler, as the products used glide effortlessly, and remain un-smudged and intact for longer period of time. Therefore this is the pre-requisite before starting the tutorial.
Take a champagne colored shimmery eyeshadow and apply it all over your eyelid, right up to the brow bone. Making the eye area seem brighter this also enhances the additional eyeshadows that will be used in the later step.
Take a brown copper shimmery eye shadow to line along the top eyelashes. The color should be most concentrated on the border along the eyelashes, and anything above that should be blended with the previous champagne eyeshadow. Once you reach the corner, flick the eye shadow to create a wing shape towards the eyebrows. Use a wet brush to do this, as a wet brush makes the color more concentrated. The cat eye has already begun to take shape.
Once you are done with the eyeshadow, start to outline the inner corner of the eyes to enhance the inner V with a liner. A gel liner gives the best results, as the consistency is very versatile. I used the Maybelline Drama gel liner in Black.
Once the inner V is outlined, continue lining the top lid towards the outer corner of your eye till you get to the 3/4thpoint.
Now, it is time to start on the cat eye. Once you reach the 3/4th point, draw a small dot on the upper lid, where you want the wing to end.

From the dot, draw a diagonal line down to the liner at your 3/4th point. From that same dot, draw another line down to the outer corner of your eye. Now fill in the hollow upside down, slanted, v shape, and now you have the perfect cat eye with the perfect wing. This can be as dramatic or as subtle as you want.
Line the lower rim with kajal, till it is completely outlined. I used the Maybelline Colossal Kajal, because it offers more staying power.

Take a little bit of liner again, and start smudging it from the outer corner of the eyes to make the lower lash line thickly lined at the very edges.
Curl your lashes, to give them that nice rounded effect.
Coat both top and bottom lashes with lots and lots of mascara. And you are done! For more drama, you can add fake lashes, like Angelina Jolie. You can keep the lips neutral or color them with vibrant red. That’s the beauty of this look, it can be subtle or glam, you can make it your own in any way you want to.
