Delicious Cookie Recipes for Christmas

Christmas is the festival in which the enjoyments, parties, surprises, gifts, and happiness will arise.  On this festival most of the people try to have parties and they invite their friends, neighbors, relatives for the party, in which many types of foods, specials, cakes, chocolates, drinks, ice-creams will be served.

The invited people not only attend the party and enjoy but also they will be waiting for some surprises.  Surprises can be given not only through different types of gifts but also with lot of different foods and varieties of items.

But preparing something different to regular is not easy and it will become burden for most of people.  There is a solution for this and we provide some recipes of the tasteful items.

Some items like cakes, muffins, chocolate cookies etc.,  Some of them we provide below:

Colorful Candy Bar Cookies:

  • !/2 tube refrigerated sugar cookie dough, softly.
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 24 miniature snickers candy bars.
  • Red and green colored sugar.


  • Mix the flour in a small bowl by pouring enough water and make it small dough.
  • Now make small balls of dough in a cookie shape and dip them in colored sugar.
  • Now place 2 in apart on the parchment paper and bake it at 350 degrees for 10 minutes until the edges turn into golden brown.

Chocolate Chip Cookies:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter of 226 grams.
  • ¾ cup of granulated sugar.
  • ¾ cup of firmly packed brown sugar.
  • 2 large eggs.
  • 11/2 teaspoons of pure vanilla
  • 21/4 cups of flour.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda.
  • ½ teaspoon salt.
  • 11/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup walnuts.


  • In a bowl heat the butter with hand mixer until it becomes smooth and creamy.
  • Now add white and brown sugars and make it fluffy and mix for 2 minutes.
  • Add eggs and beat it well until it mixes completely.
  • In a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Now add them to the egg mixture and mix it well.
  • To this add chocolate chips and nuts and make it dough and refrigerate until firm for at least 2 hours.
  • Meanwhile preheat oven to 375 degrees F with a rack in the center of oven.
  • Now makes large cookies according to the sizes required or shapes required and then add 2 tablespoon ice cream scoop the drop 2 tablespoons of dough on to the baking sheets.
  • Bake them for about 10 minutes until they turn into golden brown edged.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins:

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins


  • 1 ½ cups of flour.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon grounded ginger.
  • ¼ teaspoon grounded cloves.
  • ½ teaspoon salt.
  • ½ cup unsalted butter.
  • 1 cup granulated white sugar.
  • 2 large eggs.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ¾ cups solid packed or canned pumpkin puree.
  • 1 cup semisweet, bittersweet, or milk chocolate chips.


  • Heat the oven to 350 degrees before the whole process of mixing is done.
  • Take a bowl and mix the flour, salt, spices, and salt and mix it well smoothly with butter.
  • Now in a bowl add sugar and mix in well until it becomes fluffy. Now add eggs and mix again. Then add vanilla.
  • Add flour mixture and pumpkin puree and add chocolate chips and mix it well.
  • Now fill the muffin cups and batter with ice cream scoop and place it in the heated oven and bake for about 20 minutes.
  • The muffins can be tested whether they are cooked properly or not, just insert a toothpick in the center of the muffin and when you remove it, it simply comes out clean.

Gingerbread Men:

  • ½ cup of margarine.
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup molasses
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 cups of flour
  • ½ teaspoons of baking powder.
  • ½ teaspoons of baking soda.
  • ½ teaspoons cinnamon.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves.
  • 1 teaspoon ginger.
  • ½ teaspoon of nutmeg.


  • In a large bowl take cream and margarine and sugar and mix it well until it becomes smooth. Then add egg yolk and combine flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and nutmeg; and blend it well until smooth.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and on floured surface, roll the dough out to ¼ inch thickness.
  • Cut it to desired shapes and place it in over for 10 minute, until they become firm.
  • Frost them and decorate in desired way.
